Who may join the wine club?
Anyone 21 years or older who resides in a legal shipping state. See Shipping Policy.
What does it cost to join?
There is no cost to join the wine club. However, a credit card is required so we can charge your account each quarter. The cost depends on the wine selected, less the 20% wine club discount, plus any applicable sales tax. If you requested the wine to be shipped to you, an additional shipping and handling charge will apply. You may elect to pick up your wines at the winery. The wine is typically $50-$65, not including taxes or shipping charges.
Who selects the wines?
The wine is selected by our winemaker, Tom Jones. Typically the wines are our most current releases to allow you time to purchase additional quantities if you wish.
When will I receive my wines?
The wines are released in February, May, August and November. You will receive three bottles of Lava Cap wine. Your credit card is billed around the first of these four months. If you chose to pick up your wines at the winery, you will receive a post card informing you when it’s ready for pick up. If you selected shipping, you also receive a postcard announcing the shipment date so you can plan to be available to sign for it. Both postcards include the wines selected, the cost charged to your account, and wines offered only to members for additional discounts.
What is my commitment?
When you join the wine club, you are committing to receive at least two (2) quarterly wine shipments. Early cancellation is subject to a $25 service charge.

Unfortunately, no. The wines are selected by our winemaker, Tom Jones, with no substitutions.
How do I change my information for the wine club?
To change or update any of your personal information, such as your address, credit card number/ expiration date, whether you want to change to shipment or pick up, or you wish to cancel your membership, please contact Gerry Fisher, Lava Cap Wine Club Coordinator, at 800-475-0175 or wineclub@lavacap.com .
