2023 Grenache Blanc

Tasting Notes

A nose of honeysuckle and jasmine greets and is followed by green apple and flint. It finishes with bright acidity and hints of lemon zest. A bright and elegant wine.

Vineyard Notes

Grown at a neighboring vineyard on raw granitic soil, these are some of the last white grapes harvested.

Winemaker Notes

The 2023 Grenache Blanc was fermented in neutral French oak over three weeks. After 9 months of aging on lees with occasional stirring, the wine was blended with 12.5% Marssanne and 12.5% Roussanne followed by filtration and bottling. The wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation to preserve brightness and acidity.
